When you're out networking, I want you to consider the importance of developing relationships and a community.
If you're only focused on getting business, looking for clients, and selling you could be missing out on other opportunities that could actually be even more rewarding than gaining a client.
I was talking with a friend of mine the other day and if she hasn't been having a little bit of a personal conversation with someone she met at one of her networking groups, she never would have been introduced to a group of people who ended up saving her daughters life. Which is obviously WAY more valuable in that moment than any other kind of connection she could have gained.
When you put the relationships first, you will see many amazing opportunities.
Don't worry, business will show up for you as well. It's actually been my experience that the business flows in even faster when I'm more interested in developing the relationships than simply focusing all on selling or talking about what I can sell.
Thanks for being here!

It develops credibility and visibility. It is a platform to keep your current clients and referral partners engaged with you by deepening the relationship and developing the community of your inner circle.

Hosting your own events are a great way to boost your business!
But, it only works if people actually show up.
In this video, I share 3 ways we get "butts in seats" at Women, Wine & Wellness and our other wellness events Beer, Buddies & Better Health and Inspired Wellness Network.
The first is a great topic and a great speaker. As an event host, you are competing with the couch. It's important to articulate what the benefits are for those who attend.
The second thing we do is have the speakers help. We bring in outside presenters and it's such a win-win when they invite their connections. It helps the speaker by increasing their credibility with their list and when they have supporters in the room during the event, it boosts their credibility with those they may be meeting for the first time. Of course, it helps us because it brings in new faces to our events.
The third thing we do is create discussions in the event invitations on meetup and Facebook. This creates excitement for the event as well as reminds those who have been invited that the event is coming up and that they want to attend.
Hosting your own events is an amazing way to grow your business through developing community and sharing what you offer.
It's also a very fun and rewarding way to grow your client base.
