When you're out networking, I want you to consider the importance of developing relationships and a community. If you're only focused on getting business, looking for clients, and selling you could be missing out on other opportunities that could actually be even more rewarding than gaining a client. I was talking with a friend of mine the other day and if she hasn't been having a little bit of a personal conversation with someone she met at one of her networking groups, she never would have been introduced to a group of people who ended up saving her daughters life. Which is obviously WAY more valuable in that moment than any other kind of connection she could have gained. When you put the relationships first, you will see many amazing opportunities. Don't worry, business will show up for you as well. It's actually been my experience that the business flows in even faster when I'm more interested in developing the relationships than simply focusing all on selling or talking about what I can sell. Thanks for being here! Please leave a comment below, I would love to hear from you.
